Hi, I’m Emily—founder of Bright Praxis. I started this consulting practice because I believe in the power of small organizations to make big change, especially when they have the tools and support to tell their story and build toward the future.

Bright Praxis is focused on affordable evaluation, grant writing, and capacity building for service programs, cultural organizations, and community-based nonprofits. I bring years of experience from the federal government, advocacy, and nonprofit sectors, where I’ve managed grants, run federal contracts, and worked alongside dozens of grantees to design evaluation strategies and strengthen their impact.

I partner closely with clients to make evaluation approachable, meaningful, and useful—whether you’re just getting started or looking to deepen your existing practices.
